MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A 24 year old Byron man lost control of his vehicle and died Wednesday morning.
UPDATE: The driver has been identified as Thomas Martin Green of Byron, Georgia.
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on Hartley Bridge Road near Arnold Drive. According to reports, the driver was was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, north on Hartley Bridge Road when he went off road while in the curve just before Arnold Drive. The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected from the vehicle which rolled on top of him. First responders were able to remove the driver from under the vehicle, but he succumbed to his injuries. The 24-year-old male was pronounced deceased on scene by Deputy Coroner Luanne Stone at 7:21a.m.
The identity of the driver will be released once family is notified.
