Wellness Wednesday: May is National Stroke Awareness Month

(KBTV) – The month of May is National Stroke Awareness month. According to the American Stroke Association (ASA), stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world.

Health experts say it is important to raise awareness of the serious nature of stroke. KBTV’s Dr. Karlisha Booze talked with Tracey Gift, Recreation Therapist at Piedmont Macon Rehab out symptoms and treatments.
