Man found shot dead in east Macon

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man was found dead inside of a home in east Macon Saturday morning.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Demarious Shamonte Brown was found inside a residence within the 2200 block of Gray Highway at 9:51am.

Brown suffered gunshot wounds. Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced Brown dead on the scene. The incident is under investigation.
