3 year old boy dies in pedestrian fatality

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A 3 year old Macon toddler is dead after he was allegedly hit by a car early Monday morning.

The accident happened on Riverside Drive, south of North Crest Boulevard. According to reports, family members called law enforcement to a hotel located in the 3900 block of Riverside Drive, reporting the toddler missing around 3:58am. Bibb deputies later found the boy nearby unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on scene by Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson.

The body will be sent off for an autopsy to GBI. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500, and ask to speak with a Fatality Investigator.o
