Mayor Lester Miller presents key to the city to board member

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A long time educator and board member has been recognized for hard work and dedication.

Bibb County Board of Education member, Dr. Thelma D. Dillard, District 2, was presented with the Key to the City, along with a resolution naming December 19, 2024, Dr. Thelma D. Dillard Day in Macon-Bibb County at the board’s monthly meeting on December 19th. Dillard was honored for 12 years of service as a Board of Education member.

Dr. Juawn A. Jackson, District 4, was also recognized and honored for four years of service as a Board of Education member.
