MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The first babies of 2025 at Piedmont Macon are twins.
Alonte and Alonna Woods arrived on New Year’s Day shortly before 3am. Alonte, 3 pounds and 3.9 ounces, was born at 2:44 a.m., and Alonna was born at 2:52a.m., weighing 3 pounds and 13.6 ounces. The babies are in Piedmont Macon’s NICU and are doing fine.
The parents, LaShondra Johnson and Alton Woods are happy to welcome their babies to the family. The twins have a 7 year old sister.
