MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – After two weeks of temporarily closure, Tucker Road and Forsyth Road crossing is reopening.
The road will reopen Thursday, January 2. Crews will begin reinstalling stop and warning signs, setting up warning lights, and removing barricades at 10:00 a.m.
The closure has given the county a chance to look at safer traffic patterns and options for the area. Macon-Bibb County’s Traffic Engineer has reviewed traffic in and around the railroad crossing.
