MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic that left one person dead and one person injured early Sunday morning.
UPDATE: The driver of the Expedition later identified as 37-year-old Bradley Davidson and the deceased is identified as 38-year-old Nickalous Green.
The accident happened just after 2:00 a.m., on Pio Nono Ave. Bibb deputies say a Chevrolet Van was traveling southbound on Pio Nono Ave, when the driver attempted to go around a vehicle and collided head on with a Ford Expedition going northbound. Both drivers were taken to Atrium Health Navicent Health Hospital for treatment. The male driver of the Expedition is listed in stable condition. The driver of the Chevrolet Van died.
No names have been released at this time.
