Man shot and killed in south Macon

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man died at the hospital from a gunshot wound after he was shot Thursday night in Macon.

UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Devan Suwvon Williams.

Bibb deputies say the shooting happened in the 3500 block of Flamingo Drive just after 10:30p.m. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, but died. The name of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
