MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Pregnant mothers have a new experience as they get ready for labor abd delivery at Piedmont Macon.
Piedmont Macon opened up an Obstetrics Emergency Department. The department allows mothers to have access to a doctor 24 hours a day in case they are going into labor. KBTV’s Dr. Karlisha Booze talked with Kari Willingham, Director of Women Services at Piedmont Macon about the new department and the benefits. Willingham says this experience is different from a general OB assessment.
