Man found shot dead at Macon Park

MACON, Georgia (KBTV)!- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person dead Monday night.

UPDATE: The deceased have been identified as  Jarvis Kentral Curtis.

The shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Roff Ave., Freedom Park. Deputies responded to a person down by the lake. Upon arrival, they found a 39 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died. An autopsy is pending.
