UPDATE: Woman arrested for bank robbery

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman and a child after they allegedly robbed a bank Wednesday morning.

UPDATED: 37 year old Sidney Leshay Bryant was arrested at a home within the 4300 block of West Highland Drive. A person contacted authorities when they spotted the person of interest. The child is safe. Bryant is charged with Armed Robbery, Cruelty to Children in the First Degree, and Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers.

The robbery happened at Robins Financial Credit Union, located at 4245 Log Cabin Drive around 9:00am.

Bibb deputies say a masked black female wearing all black entered the bank alongside a child dressed in a Spider-Man outfit, walked up to a bank teller and handed a note demanding money. After receiving some cash, they left the bank in a white Nissan Maxima. No one was hurt.
