MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Middle Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) will host a regional job fair for multiple Middle Georgia school districts on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Westside High School, located at 2851 Heath Road in Macon. School districts participating include Bibb, Twiggs, Crawford, Monroe, Jones, Peach, Jasper, and Houston counties.
RESA officials say the event is open to anyone interested in a career in education. Both instructional and support positions will be available, including teachers, bus drivers, school nutrition staff, maintenance, and clerical roles.
Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared for on-site interviews by bringing at least eight copies of their resume and dressing professionally. Representatives from each participating school district will be on hand to conduct interviews.
In addition, representatives from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and Middle Georgia RESA will be available to answer questions about certification requirements and different pathways to becoming a certified educator.
