PERRY, Georgia (KBTV) – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 14-year-old boy last seen in the King’s Chapel area.
UPDATE 1/4/26: Nyle has been found safe and reunited with family.
Nyle Frederick was last spotted near Morning Side Drive. He’s described as a Black male with a light complexion, wearing a black jacket, red shirt, and black pants. He also wears glasses.
Family and police say Nyle is high-functioning autistic and has ADHD. He’s not familiar with the area and may be drawn to ponds, creeks, or other water sources because he enjoys fishing. However, officials stress that he does not know how to swim and is afraid of loud noises, making it especially important to locate him quickly.
Nyle does have family on Suzanne Retreat Drive in Perry and knows how to get to that residence.
If you see Nyle Frederick or have any information that could help bring him home safely, please contact the Perry Police Department right away or call 911. Every single tip matters.
