MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A 25-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot Monday evening in Macon-Bibb County.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened in the 2200 block of Recreation Road and was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center around 7:34 p.m. Deputies responding to the scene found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, and limited details have been released so far. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
