Middle Georgia Schools Team Up for Regional Education Job Fair with On-the-Spot Interviews

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Looking for a job in education? Middle Georgia schools are coming together under one roof to hire — and they’re ready to interview on the spot.

The Middle Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) is hosting a regional job fair on January 10, 2026, bringing multiple school districts together to fill a wide range of open positions. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Westside High School, located at 2851 Heath Road in Macon.

School districts from Bibb, Twiggs, Crawford, Monroe, Jones, Peach, Jasper, and Houston counties will be represented, with hiring officials available to meet with candidates face-to-face.

RESA says both instructional and support positions are available. That includes teachers, bus drivers, school nutrition staff, maintenance workers, clerical staff, and more. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared for interviews, bring at least eight copies of their resume, and dress professionally.

For those interested in becoming a certified educator, representatives from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and Middle Georgia RESA will also be on hand to explain certification options and career pathways.

The job fair is being coordinated by Geneva Braziel, a leadership consultant with Middle Georgia RESA, as part of a broader effort to recruit and retain staff across the region.

For more information, you can contact Middle Georgia RESA at 478-988-7170,email gbraziel@mgresa.us, or reach out to any of the participating school districts.
