MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A woman is dead after she was shot at a convenience store in west Macon Thursday morning.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Neighborhood Grocery at 3102 Napier Avenue around 10:13 a.m. after a report of a person shot. When deputies arrived, they found a 33-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was taken by ambulance to a local medical facility, where she later died from her injuries. Investigators are now working to determine what led up to the shooting.
