3 shot in early morning apartment complex shooting in Macon

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Three people were injured in a shooting early Friday morning at an apartment complex in Macon, and Bibb deputies are now working to figure out exactly what happened.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a 42-year-old woman, a 25-year-old woman, and an 18-year-old man were all shot at Autumn Trace Apartments on Rocky Creek Road. The call came into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center around 3:45 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they found all three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated them at the scene before taking them to a local hospital. Medical staff say all three are in stable condition.

Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Violent Crimes Unit, are handling the case. Right now, no additional details about what led up to the shooting have been released.
