Virginia based nonprofit organization expands to Macon, Georgia

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A Virginia based non-profit is looking to bring big changes to middle Georgia.

Founder and Executive Director, Leteisha Gordon, says “A Better Day Than Yesterday,” is a mission-driven organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and equipping individuals and families impacted by incarceration, substance use, and systemic barriers.

One of the newest initiatives that is coming to Macon is affordable housing for inmates who have been recently incarcerated. The non profit has already secured a home but is looking for sponsors, donors, and volunteers to get it up and running.
