MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Middle Georgia residents have an opportunity to get a chance to participate in an event that can help them maintain a healthy heart.
During the month of February, medical experts spread awareness of cardiovascular health; which is one of the leading cause of death. Piedmont Macon is hosting a health screening event on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 7a.m. -11a.m. to provide patients with an opportunity discuss their medical needs with physicians as well as get FREE screenings. Some heart screenings include: Fasting lipid blood test (cholesterol, triglycerides, & A1C), Weight and body mass index, Hip to waist ratio, Blood pressure, Ankle-Brachial Index, and Stroke Risk Assessment.
The event is being held at the Macon Mall located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway. To register for the event, please call (478) 538-0408.Health experts advised patients who are interested in getting blood work done to fast beginning at midnight the night before.
