MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A 42 year old man is dead after he was shot in Macon early Friday morning.
UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as Marquiz Hoges.
Bibb deputies say the shooting happened outside a home in the 3400 block of Houston Avenue. A report of a person shot was called in to the 911 center just before 1:00am. When deputies arrived on scene, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
An ambulance took him to the hospital for treatment but he died. The name of the victim will be released once family is notified.
