MACON, Georgia – A man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Macon.
Bibb deputies say it happened Monday night around 5:05 p.m. 71 year old Albert Caines was traveling east on Mercer University Drive when he did not stop at a traffic light and went off the roadway, hitting a tree. He was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.
No one else was injured in the accident. The accident is under investigation.
