HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia – Two Houston County School District students who were selected to serve on the state’s Superintendent Richard Woods’ 2020-2021 Student Advisory Council.
Sejal Patel (Houston County High School, 11th grade-pictured top) and Brenley Fouse (Perry High School, 12th grade-pictured bottom) will participate in their first virtual council meeting November 5, 2020. The council consist of students in grades 9-12 who discuss how decisions made at the state level affect students throughout Georgia.
Students were selected based on essay responses in reference to public education.
