Homicide suspect arrested

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection to a homicide that happened in early April.

17 year old Robert James Ottman Jr. was arrested at a boarding house on Ponce De Leon Avenue around 1:06 a.m. on Tuesday. According to a news release, a tip led to Ottman’s arrest.

Ottoman was wanted for questioning in a homicide that happened April 2, 2021 at the Blossom Hill Estates Apartments located at 4006 Mercer University Drive. 24-year-old Kenneth Wendell Snead Jr., of Macon, was fatally wounded during an altercation that happened at the apartments.
