MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man was found dead in west Macon Friday morning.
UPDATE 5/20/21: A third suspect has been arrested. Bibb deputies arrested 26 year old Damian Devonta Felton Sr. on Monday for unrelated charges to the investigation (drugs and hun). Investigators identified him as one of the possible suspects in Norwood’s murder investigation. Warrants were issued on Wednesday for the charges of Murder and Concealing the Death of Another. Felton is in the Bibb County jail, without bond.
UPDATE 5/18/21: 28-year-old Jerome Dewayne Beasley has been arrested. After warrants were issued for Beasley, he turned himself over to Investigators at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Annex. He’s charged with Murder and Concealing the Death of Another. Beasley also have outstanding warrants unrelated to this investigation, for the charges of two counts of Criminal Trespass, two counts of Battery, and Probation Violation Superior Court. He remains in Bibb LEC without bond.
UPDATE 5/17/2021: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Margaton Achilles Dudley. Dudley was interviewed by investigators on Friday and arrested. He’s at the Bibb LEC being held without bond. He’s facing the charges of Murder and Concealing Death of Another.
26 year old Amond Rashad Norwood’s body was discovered by a person walking in the area of Churchill street around 9:30a.m. The passerby says Norwood’s body was found under a mattress in an area where there’s debris and illegal dumping.
