MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – An early morning shooting leaves one man dead and a woman in critical condition.
UPDATE 5/19/21 The 46 year old has been identified as Darryl Dewight McCrary.
This incident happened around 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Reliance Food Mart located at 3590 Napier Avenue. According the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a 46 year old man was fatally shot while sitting in his car in the parking lot. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A 21 year old woman was also wounded as she sat in her car in the parking lot. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance where’s she’s in critical condition. Another male was wounded by gunfire and taken to the hospital by personal vehicle before deputies arrived to the scene.
No names of the victims have been released. There are no suspects at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
