Update: Macon man arrested for stabbing his girlfriend multiple times

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who stabbed his girlfriend multiple times during a domestic dispute.

UPDATE 8/9/21: Johnson turned himself in to the Bibb LEC around 12:07pm. He is charged with aggravated Assault and two counts of Cruelty to Children in the 3rd degree. Johnson does not have a bond. The female victim has been discharged from the hospital.

The incident happened Monday morning around 10a.m. at Northwood Apartments located on Thomaston Road. After the incident, the 26 year old female was taken to the Atrium Health Navicent by a Sheriff’s Deputy vehicle and treated for her injuries. She is in stable condition.

Bibb deputies say the suspect, 30-year-old Shawndarius Johnson was last seen driving a burgundy Chrysler 300 and may have went to Milledgeville. He is also known to have ties in South Carolina.
