MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man was found dead early Monday morning in the parking lot at the Macon Mall located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway.
A passerby walking in the parking lot discovered the deceased person and called 911 around 8:11am. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene. The body of 34 year old Rashad Byrd was found adjacent to Office Depot. Deputy Coroner Lu Ann Stone pronounced Byrd dead at 9:12am. The investigation is ongoing. There are no signs of foul play. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
