MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a 4 year old dead Friday night in Macon.
UPDATE: The grandmother of 4 year old Kameron Ross has been arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. Investigators say Ross found a firearm in the apartment and accidentally shot him self. Reports state two male juveniles ages 14 and 16 brought the gun inside of the home. The juveniles, along with witnesses were interviewed.
The incident happened at Pendleton Homes Apartments located at 3401 Houston Avenue just after 8:30P.M. Bibb deputies say a 911 call came in of a child shot and was being taking to the hospital by personal car. He died at the hospital.
