MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Piedmont Macon Rehabilitation Center, an inpatient rehabilitation center within Piedmont Macon Medical Center in Macon, has been named a 2021 America’s Best Rehabilitation Center in Georgia by Newsweek Magazine.
Among Georgia’s top facilities, Piedmont Macon was recognized for quality of care, reputation, and accreditation. Piedmont Macon ranks fifth in the state, the only inpatient rehabilitation facility to make the list within 50 miles.
KBTV’s Dr. Karlisha Booze talked to Assistant Therapist, Tyrone Richardson, about what makes their facility stand out and also how patients recovering from illnesses get their bodies back to normal while staying at home.
