MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Two people died Friday night as a result of a fatal shooting.
UPDATE: The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Aquanis Keshawn Howard and 26-year-old Jeremy Beebee. Howard died at the hospital. Beebee was pronounced dead on the scene.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Grier Street around 10:57pm. Deputies were notified that the first victim was being treated for a gunshot wound at Piedmont Macon hospital but later died.
The second victim, was found unresponsive in the driver seat of a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole on Grier Street and also died from a gunshot wound on the scene.
The events that led up to the fatal shootings are still being investigated. The names of the victims are not being released until family has been notified.
