City of Fort Valley crime rates decreased

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (KBTV) – Over the years, law enforcement in Fort Valley have seen a decrease in crime.

There are many initiatives that the city has developed to keep those numbers low. Some of those initiatives include residents who can also make a difference in the community they live in. Chief Lawrence Spurgeon provided data that shows different crimes and how they have seen a decrease.
