MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened Sunday evening at a Dollar General in Macon.
At around 7:10pm, an armed suspect walked into the Dollar General located at 5544 Thomaston Road and demanded money from the cashier. After stealing some money from the safe, he fired a shot in the air, then ran out of the store. He was seen running behind the building.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a skull mask. If anyone has information about this incident, they are urged to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 751-7500, or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
