PULASKI COUNTY, Georgia (KBTV) – Five men are on the run after they escaped from Pulaski County Jail Friday night.
UPDATE: All 5 escapees have been captured.
UPDATE: Tyres Jackson and Lewis Evans are now in custody in Warner Robins. Police are still searching for the 3 other escaped inmates. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $5000.00 for information leading to the direct arrest of any of the wanted escapees.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, 33 year old Tyree Williams Jr., 22 year old Lewis Wendell Evans III, 27 year old Tyres Montan Jackson, 24 year old Brandon Pooler, and 28 year old Dennis Pennix Jr. escaped at 11:15pm. They were all last seen traveling in a stolen white 2015 Kia Sedona van with Georgia tag number CMP8628. Authorities say all of the men have a violent criminal history. Two of the inmates are charged with murder. It is believed that the inmates have two tasers.
Law enforcement are warning that if you encounter the men, do not approach them. Anyone who sees them should call 911 or the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 783-1212.
