MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man died in the hospital after he was shot multiple times in Macon.
Around 4:30pm, a call came in to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office about a shooting that took place on Mercer University Drive, near Edna Place. According to reports an altercation took place between individuals in the roadway on Mercer University Drive. During the altercation, one of the individuals was shot multiple times. The wounded male, 37 year old Jarvis Kentral Ottman, got back into his car and drove down the road and wrecked his car before stopping in a nearby parking lot on Edna Place. Ottoman was taken to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance where he later died.
