MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that happened late Tuesday night.
UPDATE 3/14/22: A fourth arrest have been made. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators along with the assistance of the United States Secret Service and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Deputiesserved a warrant for 18-year-old Jamir Kortez Culbreath, of Jonesboro.
UPDATE 01/27/22: On Wednesday January 26, 2022, a third homicide suspect was taken into custody. Members of the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies served a warrant for 21-year-old Lucky Chiderah Udeh, of Stone Mountain.
UPDATE 12/09/21: Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force made a second arrest . 23-year-old Isaac Folabi-Sola Adesina of Hampton, Georgia was interviewed by investigators then later arrested and booked at the BIBB LEC. He is charged with murder and has no bond.
UPDATE: 23-year-old Javacea Javonne Battle of Atlanta, was identified as one of the suspects involved in connection with the homicide. Battle was located in Fulton County. He was questioned about the murder investigation and later taken into custody. He’s been held at the BIBB LEC charged with murder and has no bond.
Bibb deputies say after 11:00pm, reports came in that a man was shot inside a vehicle in the parking lot of 2400 Riverside Drive. When deputies arrived on scene they found an unresponsive 27-year-old male from Orange Park, Florida in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. The victim had tried to drive away after being shot but crashed into a ditch. The victim is identified as Chaucey Jevon Love II. Love was pronounced dead on the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley.
