MACON, Georgia (KBTV) A woman died early Sunday morning after she was hit by a car in east Macon.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 6:47a.m. at the 1900 block of Millerfield Road, before its intersection with Jeffersonville Road.
Deputies say 60-year-old Debbie Pearson was attempting to cross Millerfield Road towards Jims Food Mart when a vehicle traveling south bound on Millerfield Road struck her. Pearson died on the scene.
There are currently no charges. The investigation is ongoing.
