MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened at a Family Dollar store in Macon Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery happened around 2:48pm at the Family Dollar located at 4625 Mercer University Drive. It was reported that a man entered the business with a gun and demanded money from the cashier. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he left the scene in a black Dodge Charger towards Highland Drive . No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a short black male, possibly 5 feet 6 inches. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, with a dark blue sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.
