What’s happening Weekend: “Festivals in the hill,” “Mark Lockett performs in Macon,” and “Christmas parades kick of holiday season”

GEORGIA (KBTV) – Dozens of people came together over the weekend and introduced helpful resources at Pleasant Hill’s monthly “Festivals in the Hill.” This festival happens every first Saturday. Vendors set up shop and shared their goods and services to the public. The event took place at Linear Park, which is located behind Booker T. Washington Community Center in Macon.

Mark Lockett, AKA “Mr.Stay Ready” performed in Macon on Saturday. Lockett, former lead singer of “The Redding’s” funk/soul group, performed at Donovan Michaels. Lockett says he wanted to put everyone in the holiday spirit and bring good music and good vibes.

There were several parades happening over the weekend. From Centerville, to Lizella, and to Macon, attendees say it was full of excitement. KBTV caught some of the action in Macon on Sunday. The grinch also made his appearance!
