WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (KBTV) – Warner Robins Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that happened Sunday afternoon.
Warner Robins Police were dispatched to Houston County Medical Center in reference to a person with a gunshot wound. Officers learned 23-year-old Jontavious Askew was shot in the back. Investigation revealed the shooting happened in the 200 block of Northlake Drive Sunday around 1:06 pm. Askew is currently at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon and is in stable condition.
