MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted armed robbery at a local convenience store.
The attempted robbery happened Wednesday morning around 8:26 a.m. at the Lucky Food Mart located at 2400 Second Street. Bibb deputies say a masked man entered the store with a gun and demanded money. He attempted to open the register but did not get any money. He ran away on foot and was last seen running towards Ell Street. The suspect is described as a slender male wearing all black with a mask.
