MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person dead on Saturday.
UPDATE: On January 27, 2022, 39-year-old Adam Lee Lamar, of Macon, was taken into custody and charged with (1) Count of Receipt, Possession or Transfer of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender, with bond of $8,800. Lamar also had a separate hold from a warrant out of Baldwin County. Later, Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators served Lamar a warrant for the charge of (1) Count of Murder on January 31, 2022. Lamar currently does not have a bond.

The shooting happened around 5pm at 332 Pansy Avenue. Bibb deputies say 47-year-old Kena Jermaine Marshall was wounded by gun fire while at a gathering. He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance where he later died. No one else was reported injured during the incident,
