$500,000 worth of drugs found during traffic stop

BALDWIN COUNTY, Alabama (KBTV)- A Special Operations Unit deputy made a traffic stop on a car hauler registered from Illinois on January 18, 2022.

A 2003 Ford Expedition was being transported and deputies searched the vehicle. Approximately 116 pounds of ICE Methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle. The vehicle was being transported from Los Angeles, CA to Orland, FL.
The value of the Methamphetamine is around $500,000.

Both drugs and vehicle were seized and the driver was released. This is still an ongoing narcotics investigation and more updates will be provided.
