MACON, Georgia (KBTV)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that happened Friday morning.
The shooting was reported to the Macon E911 Center at around 11:34 a.m. at the Woods on Napier Apartments located at 4017 Napier Avenue.
It was reported that a neighbor reported a person down in an apartment. As deputies responded, they found 21-year-old Deuntay Lashavi Hicks, with a fatal gunshot wound. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and the next of kin have been notified.
