MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A woman died Saturday afternoon after she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree.
The accident happened just before 5:30 p.m. in the 8100 block of Knoxville Road. Bibb deputies say 63-year-old Julie Ann Fleeman of Byron was traveling south on Knoxville Road when it went off the roadway and struck a tree. She was taken to Atrium Health Navicent for treatment but died.
The traffic collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
