WARNER ROBINS, Georgia(KBTV)- A Warner Robins employee is behind bars for stealing money.
The Warner Robins Police Department was notified by the Director of Community and Economic Development of an employee theft on February 2, 2022. Detectives were advised that an employee was taking money since 2018 involving the Mortgage Assistance Program.
The employee would receive the money but would not receipt the City for it. The theft was discovered after an inquiry into funds within the Department, and funds total over $45,000. The employee notified by the Director of the theft and after investigating, the employee Pamela Mullis (54) of Warner Robins, was charged with Theft by Taking – Fiduciary. A warrant was sought for Mullis and was arrested at by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
