LIZELLA, Georgia (KBTV) – A Lizella man and two others are facing several drug and gun charges.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies and DEA agents stopped 31-year-old Joshua Ross, of Lizella, while driving and found him to be in possession of a handgun and a quantity of marijuana on February 15, 2022. After the traffic stop, authorities searched one of his homes and found a shotgun, a stolen handgun, and marijuana packaging material. Two more of Ross’ homes were searched and approximately 75 pounds of marijuana, approximately a kilo of cocaine, approximately 6 pounds of THC edibles, approximately 4 ounces of counterfeit Roxicodone, and three additional firearms were seized.
During the investigation, co-conspirators 29-year-old Kenyatta Jackson, of Macon, and 31-year-old Eboni Poindexter, of Houston County, were also arrested.
Joshua Ross was charged with two counts ofTrafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. He is also being held for probation violation. Ross is being held without bond at this time at the Bibb County Jail. Kenyatta Jackson was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine. She is being held without bond at this time. Eboni Poindexter was charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. She is being held at the Houston County jail.
