MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying a suspect who stole the identity of a person and cashed counterfeit checks.
Reports state a male suspect walked into the Truist Bank, located at 2998 Riverside Drive on August 12, 2021and assumed the identity of the account holder and cashed several counterfeit checks for an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators are asking if you have any information that can help identify the male or if you know his whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 47-751-7500 or Macon Reginal Crime Stoppers at 1—877-68CRIME.
