(KBTV) – In this week’s, “What’s Happening Weekend” segment, KBTV caught the sights and sounds of the annual Cherry Blossom Parade, spoke with attendees, and saw some familiar faces.
Dozens of kids in Macon’s Pleasant Hill neighborhood participated in a youth clean up. Pastor Dr. Johnnie Cook of Greater Allen Chapel AME paid each child $10 for their service. The kids learned life lessons.
Soul food Sundays kicked off over the weekend at Donovan Michael’s located at 5033 Brookhaven Rd. Suite 700 in Macon. Award winning performer, Mark Lockett graced the event with his outstanding music and performance. Soul food Sundays happen every Sunday starting at 1:30pm.
