Suspect wanted for fatal hit and run

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia(KBTV)- A man is dead after he was hit by a car Sunday night.

On March 27, 2022 at 8:35 pm, the Warner Robins Police Department, Fire Department, and Houston Healthcare EMS were dispatched to the 1800 block of Watson Blvd. near the Houston Road intersection in reference to a person that was struck by a car.

A male was crossing Watson Blvd. northbound on foot outside a crosswalk and made it halfway through when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling westbound. The unknown vehicle continued travelling west and did not stop to render aid. The male was transported to HMC where he later died from his injuries.The victim of the fatal hit and run is identified as 53 year old Clinton Taylor of Centerville.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle will have damage to the right front fender and windshield. The Warner Robins Traffic Division is investigating the collision. Anyone with further information, is asked to call Sgt. Tim Pippio at (478) 293-1048, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
